WHAT RUNNING ANALYSIS PACKAGES DO WE OFFER?
Our packages are designed to analyse your running technique and assess your risk of injury. We use SLOW MOTION video analysis to allow you to see real time improvements to your running technique. To assess your strength we use the Activ5 Dynamometer providing us with an accurate measurements of your strength, taking the guesswork out of potential muscle imbalances affecting your running. We have various levels of packages available to help you become a superhuman runner.
Our packages do not include a diagnosis of your current injury. If you are currently suffering with an injury affecting your ability to run, we do recommend an assessment with our physiotherapist prior to a running analysis package.
(The Strength Assessment)
A detailed analysis of your running strength to assess your risk of running injuries.
This includes balance testing, maximal force testing and agonist/antagonist muscle balance comparisons.
This does not include a treadmill running analysis

(The Running Assessment)
A treadmill based gait analysis session assessing your foot strike, cadence, leg cycle, arm swing & much more.
You get the chance to see a real time detailed breakdown of the inefficiencies within your running form
Tips and drills to improve your running technique within the session
Duration: 60 mins
(The Complete Assessment)
A combination of the bronze and silver package providing a comprehensive analysis of your injury risk and running technique

A used pair of running trainers to assess sole wear. The older the better
As this will be a practical assessment, you will need appropriate clothing and trainers
Any smartphone/ smartwatch data you have can be beneficial
We recommend you bring a water bottle
OUR RUN ANALYSIS THERAPIST
Lead Physiotherapist & Running Technique Coach
Chris qualified from the University of Southampton in 2010. Since then, he has worked in physiotherapy’s private sector at various locations throughout South Wales.
Chris founded Back2Front Physio in 2012 and has seen it grow from strength to strength. He is an APPI trained Pilates Instructor and has been certified as a Running Technique Coach. He leads the Pilates Classes and Run Analysis services.
Chris is vastly experienced with treating many sporting athletes including rugby, football, hockey, runners and cyclists, utilising a bio-mechanical approach to improve function, reduce pain and return the patient to pre-injury function.
