Our 1:1 Personal Training Sessions are designed for the over 40's with little or no training experience.

We aim to develop your strength, fitness and overall health to ensure age is just a number.  You will work closely with our trainer Jaycee to build your fitness weekly, with measurable goals and outcomes reviewed in regular assessment sessions.

A baseline assessment is required prior to undertaking 1:1 PT sessions or receiving an individualised exercise programme. This is to evaluate your current fitness levels and to be able to provide you with the correct level of intensity in order to achieve a positive effect, whether in a 1:1 session or if you wished to undertake your exercise programme alone.

If purchasing the training package block, additional 1:1 sessions will be charged at £25. On completion of your training block, your trainer will discuss the next steps you can take on your fitness journey.

WHAT DOES THE BASELINE ASSESSMENT INVOLVE?

Your first session with Jaycee will involve a discussion about your current fitness levels and your personal goals for training. You will also undergo a series of tests to assess your fitness including:

  • Resting Blood Pressure

  • BMI Calculation

  • Resting Heart Rate

  • Joint Motion Testing

  • Functional Movement Assessment

  • Baseline Strength tests
